
Valley of Flowers
The blue Primula can be seen flowering in the valley as the most beautiful of all Himalayan flowers. The best time to see the valley flowering is between the middle of July and mid-August. You have to walk from Govind Ghats to the valley on the road to Hemkund Sahib, 12 kilometers to Ghangaria.
A few steps before Ghangaria, the trek to the valley of flower trek takes a detour to the left. Ghangaria is approximately 5 km from the valley. The lake called Hemkund (4300m/14,100ft) is situated at a high altitude in the heavenly surroundings.
In about four to six hours, there is a steep trek from Ghangharia to this spot. For Hindus, Sikhs, and other people alike, this is a significant pilgrimage. On the shore of the lake, there is a Sikh Gurudwara and a Lakshman temple.
It reflects the surroundings enchantingly in its clear and calm waters, encircled by seven snow-covered peaks and their associated glaciers. From this lake flows the glaciers of Hathi Parvat and Saptrishi peaks and the little river called Himganga.
As Guru Govind Singh referred to, on the shore of this lake at one of his earliest births, the tenth guru of the Sikh faith. Among Sikhs, it is widely believed that Guru Govind Singh presented features now associated universally with Sikhism.
The New Brotherhood called Khalsa (meaning pure from the Persian word ‘Khales’), started on 15 April 1699 and was accepted as the inner core of the faithful (Amrit). Haridwar to Joshimath
From Haridwar, you will start your trip with us. We will take the fabled Badrinath Road from Haridwar Drive from the designated pick-up location (Haridwar Train Station). We will travel over to Rishikesh and arrange to collect from there conveniently. Alternatively, on your return journey, you can arrange your stay in these great places too.
Joshimath’s nine-hour drive will certainly be long and arduous, but you will never miss fascinating vantage points. The big river running alongside us will become wilder and more fascinating as we climb. Then we pass by Panchprayag 4, Ganga Devaprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Nandaprayag, the five holy confluence. Just keep your cameras ready for most of the journey and stay awake!
Joshimath – Ghangaria Trek
The distance between Joshimath and Govindghat is 22km. On the road, the Vishnuprayag final can be seen. After breakfast, we will start the journey to Govindghat at 8 a.m. and after 4 kilometers drive towards the starting point of Puna. The road along the river Pushpawati will be 9 km.
Most of the time the whole trail is crowded. On this trail, there are many snack shops, selling drinks, hot noodles, bread omelets, parachutes, and the like. You’re never going to go hungry, therefore. The trek is on a clearly defined, steep, comfortable step-mounted path. You arrive at Bhyundar village after five kilometers of walking.
This town offers a fantastic view of Clear. This village offers a wonderful view of the clear sights of Hathi Parvat. Enjoy the magnificent views as much as possible because the steep climb begins from now on. Gangharia reaches an altitude of 10.000 meters before nightfall. A guesthouse will be staying.
Ghangaria – Valley of Flowers
The trip to Flowers Valley is 4 km away. The valley is about 6-7 km; the distance that the trekkers travel in the valley depends on how the valley is to be explored. The stamina of the trekkers is another factor to consider.
Right, when you start your forest check post from Ghangaria in 30 minutes. The inspection station may not be an attraction, but right before the inspection station, the waterfall of Laxman is bubbling. 20 minutes into the greenery and the next raging attraction.
The river Pushpavati flows furiously under a wooden bridge at this point. It’s quite a common but hypocritical capture. The path is steep and paved as the day before. When you enter the valley, you will find a lot of bridges and slopes.
Thousands of times the valley is stunning, as you might imagine. It really enlivens and cherishes the Himalayan peaks. The native flowers are Blue Poppy, Snake Foil, Hog White Leaf Foot, Himalayan Rose, Meadow Geranium, Dog Flower, and Crochet Seed.
After 5 km at the glacier, these amazing colorful blooms end. If the weather is clear, the powerful peaks of the Himalayas in the background of Nilgiri Parvat, Bhyundar Khal, Rattaban, Gauri Parvat, etc. Your return to Ghangaria before nightfall ends today’s trip.
